So, my mom got me dressed for the "home opener", we turned on the radio to listen to the game, then I promply fell asleep. When I woke up from my nap she said something like the Cub beat a Cardinal, five to one. Not surprising that 5 bears could beat 1 bird. I don't understand the game yet, but she said something about "this may be their year". I have no idea what she's talking about.
My mom told me about all our friends and family that check to see how I'm doing on this blog thing. It's great that so many people love my Mom and Dad (and me!). I'm doing really, really good, so thanks for checking in and for thinking about us.
