Tyler came home from the hospital a year ago today, and what a year it's been! She's brought love and joy to our family that we couldn't have imagined was possible. She continues to amaze me with the same strength, courage and patience she started demonstrating the day she was born. I've learned so much through this journey, first and foremost to appreciate things I used to take for granted. Who knew that a baby, still unable to verbalize, could teach adults such valuable life lessons. Sometimes I look at her and still can't believe she's mine, she's just the coolest! Boy am I lucky she came into my life!
