Creative Carving

Tyler worked tirelessly on her pumpkin masterpiece this year. Her pumpkin was huge but that didn't intimidate her! She cleaned the insides out completely by herself, chose a very difficult pattern (though I tried to convince her to choose something simpler), tirelessly punched the outlines of the pattern with a poker (thanks Montessori of Plainfield for all the punching work practice - paid off in dividends tonight), then carved most of the pattern herself (Phil helped with a couple particularly tricky parts.) The nights' work was certainly worth it - the end product was spectacular!
