Ready for College

As I was feverishly gathering and packing for our camping trip this morning (we're leaving for Michigan tomorrow morning), I looked over and noticed Tyler sitting at the kitchen table, with a very serious look on her face, writing something ever so carefully. I asked, "Tyler, what are you working on (as I was thinking to myself, 'why aren't you upstairs picking out camping clothes like I asked you to?') so hard?" She answered, "I'm practicing writing my name with pen so that when I go to college I can write it perfectly and not have to ever erase it. You only use pens in college, you know!" I wonder if she realizes college is 12 years away? I sure will miss those random thoughts when she grows up:)
