Today's the day we've been waiting for - the day that Tyler starts to eat again. As you may or may not know, the doctors stopped Ty's feedings three weeks ago with hopes of giving her lymphatic system a chance to heal (the lymphatic system does not have to function if no food is in the stomach). So we're hopeful that the leak has healed itself and that the fluid will not re-collect in her chest cavity once the lymphatic system is started up again. The plan is do an x-ray tomorrow and Wednesday to see if they see any new fluid collection.
We'll certainly keep you all up to date on her progress. Keep your fingers crossed...
