Well, today I had the moment I'd been waiting for - I got to hold Tyler for the first time. Though she still has her chest tube, our nurse today convinced us that it would be safe to finally hold her. Needless to say, the experience was absolutely incredible. I'm sure most new moms take holding their babies for granted. Our situation has taught us to be thankful for the little things.Anyway, I couldn't wait to share my excitement with all of you!

An incredible moment it was. We all sobbed with joy...well everyone except Tyler she was so happy that she was in her mommy's arms she forgot to cry for her 7:00 feeding.
